To receive academic accommodations, a student must be registered with the Counseling Office. The needs of each student are considered and treated individually in consultation with the Counselor. The Counselor works with students and faculty to facilitate implementation of accommodations and services. With a student's permission, the Counselor will notify the student's instructors of the Accommodation Plan. However, students with disabilities are also expected to self-advocate their needs with instructors.
Types of Accommodations

** Some accommodations require set up time. Students should meet with the Counselor as early as possible to ensure that accommodations can be provided in a timely manner.
The College does not make arrangements for or assume financial responsibility for personal assistants/attendants. If a student requires the use of a personal assistant/attendant in order to attend class, the student must be registered with the Counseling Office and have documentation from the Counselor.
